Resinous, dark and cold. Originating in New England during the 90’s, Black IPA remained a pretty popular style until 2016, when suddenly it found itself living in the shadow of New England IPA. This is a bitter, roasty, and uniquely hoppy style we still love to drink. Smooth roast from midnight wheat meets the bold, dank and tropical hop oils from Azacca, Mosaic and Columbus. Fermented cool with a German lager yeast, leaving a smooth black canvas where the hops can lead the way.
